Compatibility

The keycaps are compatible with most MX-style (cross-shaped) mechanical keyboards, such as Cherry MX blue and black switches, but are not suitable for membrane keyboards or laptop keyboards.

Material and Craftsmanship

The keycaps are made of zinc-aluminum alloy (ZNAL903) with a 3D embossed design. They use multiple coloring processes including electroplating, electrophoresis, and baking paint, making the manufacturing process complex.

Keycap Height

The total height of the keycaps is approximately 11.0mm, close to the OEM R4 height. After removing the surface embossed pattern, it is about 9.8mm, similar to Cherry's original R4 height. It is recommended to install them on ESC, F keys, and the two rows of primary number keys.

Slot Fit

Different keyboards and switches may have variations in slot sizes. We cannot guarantee that the keycap slots will fit perfectly on all keyboards. Therefore, the slots on the back of the keycaps are designed with an open structure for easy adjustment using tools.
